Senior Project Coordinator
World Education’s US Division is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support programs and policies that promote adult education access. The ideal candidate has a passion for adult basic skills and ESOL education and is skilled at managing several complex projects on multiple sites. A key responsibility for this position will be to support project coordination at the divisional level, in close coordination with the Vice President of the US Division.
DRAW EdTech Maker Space Info Session!
As part of the Digital Resilience in the American Workforce (DRAW) initiative, the EdTech Center will be running an EdTech Maker Space in late January - March 2022 with multiple opportunities to expand our open Digital Skills Library! Complete our interest form to ensure you stay up-to-date, and sign up for our January 7 info session where we will provide an overview of the project and the different ways you can participate!
Welcome Rachel Riggs!
The EdTech Center is pleased to announce its newest staff member, Rachel Riggs!  Rachel joins us after over three years at Frederick Community College in Maryland, where she worked as an ESOL and Family Literacy Adjunct Instructor and most recently served as an ESOL Instructional Specialist. She also served as a board member with Maryland TESOL. Rachel has been a leader in the field, and she has shared her vast expertise with us in the past on topics such as remote instruction engagement strategies and creating Digital Literacy Action Plans for learners. In the spring, she helped facilitate the Digital Skills Library EdTech Maker Space (click here to read more about the next ETMS). Her extensive knowledge of ESOL and edtech integration are certain to have an immediate impact on the work of the EdTech Center!

Business, workforce development organizations, and educational and training providers are all welcome to participate in this conversation on digital resilience and equity next Thursday, December 16, from 2-3 pm EST. Employers and learners from across industry sectors will take part in the Employer Network Advancing Digital Skills & Equity chat, which is hosted by Digital US and UpSkill America, a partnership that is collaborating to ensure the country's workers, learners, and communities have access to digital skills and opportunities to thrive in a post-COVID digital economy.
