Project Updates

21 CLEO: Juggling Work, Required Training,
and Long-Term Goals
This is our third in a series of blog posts where we’ll share personas we’ve generated from talking to working learners in our research on workforce-supported learning. In this blog post we describe Elise. This persona focuses on the experiences of a frontline service worker participating in training to satisfy a job requirement. What we see from this persona is that such mandated training is not necessarily the only learning a frontline worker has taken on.

Distance Education Strategies & Solutions:
Learning Circles in a Virtual Environment
Join us next Friday, February 26th, at 1:00 Eastern for one of a series of webinars from ProLiteracy and the EdTech Center@World Education.

Learning Circles have emerged as a promising practice for bringing together a group of people who all want to learn about the same subject. But, how do they work in a virtual environment? Join the EdTech Center and our partners ProLiteracy as we welcome expert panelists to share how they've used learning circles and how they've converted them to a virtual environment during the pandemic. Panelists will share experiences, best practices, and resources you can use to start learning circles in your program. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions.
