This week in our Tech Tip Takeover | Weekly Digital Skills Resource

¿Por qué utilizar una computadora? (English: Why use a computer?) In this DigitalLearn.org course, learn about the benefits of using a computer! In the lesson ¡Estoy abrumado! (English: I’m overwhelmed!), engage in activities to calm your nerves when using new technology. It’s always important to acknowledge that using new technology can take a toll on our mind and emotions. Setting goals and reflecting can help! Part of the ✨big reveal of the Digital Skills Library (on March 18th, register here) that we are very excited about is the addition of resources in other languages! A participant from Connecticut, Jose Adorno, helped us add the entire library of DigitalLearn’s Spanish courses. Thanks, Jose!

What We're Reading

Increasing Access to the Emergency Broadband Benefit by Listening to Californians
Learn how the California Office of Digital Innovation sought to understand the experience of Californians applying for the new Emergency Broadband benefit through the online portal. The authors describe the creative process they used which included phone calls with 60 people that got stuck on the online application. The findings from their conversations were then shared to make small but important changes to the Emergency Broadband Benefit sign-up process to resolve the most common digital barriers.
