Small Group and 1:1 Coaching on Distance Learning for Practitioners Starts TODAY!
The EdTech Center @ World Education is now offering free small group and 1:1 coaching. This opportunity is running from June to August and is connected to our Distance Education Strategy Sessions. We aim to provide additional support to the field by connecting coaching to specific topics and practice areas presented during the strategy sessions.
For today's session at 1 PM Eastern, we will cover remote teaching for teachers who are digital beginners. As a follow-up to the Friday EdTech Strategy Session: Tips and Tricks for Beginner ESOL, coaches Susan Gaer and Kathleen O’Connell will guide you as you learn more about teaching remotely. How can you ensure that you are reaching your students? In this coaching session, we will design a lesson using Google Forms that is simple but powerful. Participants will leave the session with ideas for implementing this lesson with their class(es). Two weeks later, participants will return to a small group to discuss successes and challenges they had with lesson implementation. A third session is available for those who want to replicate this lesson with their own Google Form. Participants may also opt to stay in touch with the group and coach via Google Docs, WhatsApp or Facebook.
Register for the first session happening today at 1PM EST below.
