TECH TIPS BLOG
Converting a Lesson to Integrate Technology by Leah Peterson

Have you ever found a lesson that looked interesting and engaging but didn’t have the tech elements you were hoping for?

In this blog post, I share how I adapted the "Reading Partners" lesson from the  The Change Agent, a magazine and website for adult learners, to be more technology-rich.
ONLINE RESOURCE
The Change Agent
Change Agent magazines
The Change Agent isn't new, it's 20th anniversary came and went. But if you're familiar with the magazine, you may not have thought of it as a tech tool.  The Change Agent is more than a magazine for adult learners - it's also a website:
https://changeagent.nelrc.org/.

On the website you can:

We also now have a free self-paced course (below) that uses The Change Agent to explore teaching social issues in the adult education classroom.

For most of these features, you need to have an online subscription to The Change Agent. Besides giving you access to all this great content, your subscription (just $20 a year!) helps sustain the work of The Change Agent. The Change Agent not only provides learners with engaging, relevant articles by their peers, but also gives adult learners a chance to work with the editor to get their writing ready to be shared with a national audience. A process that we hear over and over again is extrememly meaningful.

As you can see on The Change Agent's homepage, now is the right time to subscribe or make a donation as we are approaching our goal of raising $5,000 that will be matched twice over by two very generous donors. We hope you join us in supporting this work.
