There are many great Rachels out there, but this one is our favorite. There are lots of Rachels out there.  But THIS Rachel is our favorite!  Meet Coach Rachel! Coach Rachel was a camper at OYA for ELEVEN YEARS before becoming a CIT for two years, and this summer will be her third as a counselor.  Rachel has a younger sister named Claire who also works at OYA as a CIT. They share two cats named Porkchop and Linus.

Facing fears and achieving dreams Meet Coach Samantha! This is her fourth year as a summer camp counselor and her second year at Oakland Yard Athletics. Samantha is currently studying Exercise Science and Nutrition at Oakland University. In the fall, Coach Samantha will be finishing her final year of college. 3-13-2020 COVID-19 / Corona Virus Update (Mar 2020)
OYA will be closed. To our athletes, families, coaches and community, In an effort to protect the health and safety of our clients, employees and the community, Oakland Yard Athletics will be closed as of 3pm today through April 5.  Our current programs will be postponed with the season resuming Monday, April 6th until further notice.  We plan to begin the next season after that one has concluded.   Given the governor’s order to close all school

2024 Oakland Yard Summer Camp (Feb 2024)
Oakland Yard 2024 Summer Camp  Registration and ‘all things camp’ starts now !!! Summer camp in 2024 will be priced the same as it was in 2023 - $245 for a full week of fun!   Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Before and after care will again be available. For those new to Oakland Yard, we've run exciting summer camp programs since 1995. Kids can partake in dozens of activities (sports, crafts, tech), use our 200' slip 'n slide and have memorable experiences.
